Vessels In Prayer Ministry
Purpose, Mission, and Goals
Purpose: To open our ears, eyes, and hearts to the needs around us; to stand in the gap and intercede on all occasions daily for God’s divine will to be done in homes, churches, government, leaders, schools, nations, politically, in the world.
Mission: To meet weekly to intercede for prayers submitted in the prayer box, and pray for anyone desiring to come to the church; to pray consistently for pastors, deacons, leaders and ministries in the church; to witness and share the plan of salvation with those who want to be saved; to meet monthly to encourage and share praise reports of answered prayers.
Goals: Encourage others to seek God’s direction if led to become intercessors. To witness results of specifically answered prayers as the church body becomes more unified, spiritually, individually, and corporately, resulting in growth attendance at Bible study, prayer meeting, Sunday School and worship services.
1 Timothy 1:2 “ I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers of intercession, and giving thanks be made for all men: For kings and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and honesty.”
For future, quarterly fellowship; visitations at nursing homes to offer prayer.
